Our Copper Legacy Package offers a standard print-on-demand only service designed for the author who takes care of all standard publishing requirements as well as sales and distribution operations.

Details
As standard, we will provide a page-setup template either in MS Word or InDesign format. We also supply the cover design template either in PDF, InDesign or QuarkXPress format. If you do not already have an International Standard Book Number (ISBN) and barcode for your book cover, we will provide them along with the cover template. Once you have supplied both print-ready files we will submit to our POD system for quick retrieval whenever you place orders.

Bronze Legacy Package

Details
TamaRe House offers ongoing consultancy and support for all our authors, throughout the entire publishing process. Our aim is to work in collaboration with you, taking into consideration your own ideas and ambitions as a budding or already established author. As standard, we will provide a page-setup template either in MS Word or InDesign format. We also supply the cover design template either in PDF, InDesign or QuarkXPress format. If you do not already have an International Standard Book Number (ISBN) and barcode for your book cover, we will provide them along with the cover template.

After you have taken care of your work’s copy-editing, proof-reading, typesetting and cover-design, the manuscript is then ready for publishing. We will then supply a bound proof for your approval and sign off. If there are modifications to be carried out, this will be invoiced at an hourly rate after which we will supply a second bound proof. Additional proofs after the second are invoiced at the bookblock and/or cover revision POD setup fee.

As standard your book is made available in Paperback format. PDF Ebook formats are also optionally available and setup for sale on tamarehouse.co.uk, at no extra cost.

N.B. The Legacy packages only accommodate children’s colour books of up to 30 pages.

In addition to our ‘online bookshop and order fulfilment’ at tamarehouse.co.uk, we will also notify all major online booksellers including: Amazon, Borders, Abe books, Blackwell online, WH Smith and others of the availability of your book, via a central distributor. We will also notify all major UK retail distributors including: Gardners, Bertrams, Blackwell, Pepukayi Books; and internationally by way of Ingram, Baker & Taylor and other wholesale distributors. TamaRe House will accept and fulfil orders for distribution from all corners of the book trade.

We will also inform key internet search engines such as Google Book search and Yahoo of your book’s availability and webpage. Click here to view information about royalties.

Details
After your work has been copy-edited and proof-read, the manuscript is then ready for publishing. Here, the design process begins. As well as assigning your International Standard Book Number (ISBN) and barcode to your book cover design, we will also take care of the typesetting and contents page layout. Indexing services are available as an add-on should your type of publication require this.

Once the first draft of the typesetting has been completed, we will supply you with a digital proof in PDF format. If there are modifications to be carried out, we can work with you and supply up to three PDF proofs. Any required digital proofs thereafter will be invoiced starting at £10 or £40 per hour.

We will then supply a bound proof for your approval and sign off. If there are modifications to be carried out, this will be invoiced as quoted above, after which we will supply a second bound proof. Additional proofs after the second are invoiced at the bookblock and/or cover revision POD setup fee.

As standard, your book is made available in Paperback format. Multiple Ebook formats (including Kindle and iPad) are also optionally available at no extra cost. We will supply 50 free black & white paperback copies, or 10 free colour paperback copies, primarily for promotional purposes. However, you may sell all 50 copies at full retail price and therefore earn back a sizeable amount of your investment.

Details
TamaRe House Platinum Legacy package is designed for the Author who chooses to have someone else handle the setting up of their books’ marketing, promotional and publicity operations and at a cost effective rate. We will announce your book launch via a personalised Press Release document to up to 300 industry and media contacts, as well as sending e-letters to up to 5,000 target Opt-In email recipients. Larger Opt-In lists are available upon request. Just ask for quotes.

Hardback editions are also optionally available with the Platinum Legacy Package at no additional cost. The retail price will consequently be higher due to higher printing costs.

You will have a one-to-one marketing consultancy with designated marketing personnel and a marketing plan will be produced thereafter. We can also produce a digital review galley for your book and send via email to up to 10 reviewers. These may include book distributors as well as specifically targeted media personnel. Marketing tools include the design and manufacture of either 2500 A6 flyers or 5000 bookmarks and, 25 A3 posters. These designs are branded in line with the book’s look and features. Business cards are also available as an add-on feature.

Bespoke Publishing

Aside to our Bronze, Gold and Platinum Legacy Publishing Packages, TamaRe House also offer its clients Bespoke Publishing Packages. We take into consideration that some authors require very specific arrangements for their publications. For example:
- Full colour books (with unlimited pages),
- Black & white books with colour inserts,
- Thicker pages (with silk or gloss finish),
- Non-conventional dimensions,
- Special bind types,
- Niche marketing, sales and distribution arrangements.

We will assign to you one of our experienced Client Services Agents (CSA) who will help you create just the package you want. All items of service are priced individually and therefore make up the overall cost. Your CSA will guide you along with all aspects of publishing, printing, sales, distribution, as well as with marketing and public relations campaigns.

The ad-hoc approach may also include branding, logo design, as well as website design. We are happy to work with external design agencies specified by you, the Author. We offer a complete publishing service from initial conceptualisation to final delivery.
